Piano and Theory Tuition is available at Bath Piano's premises or at your own home.

All ages and abilities are welcome.

The Piano lessons involve a modern approach to music teaching; making music both fun and interesting to learn. Rather than just purely aiming towards grades, I also believe it to be beneficial for the student to explore a wide variety of music which helps to keep the student focused and enjoying learning music.

A single lesson would typically consist of:

Development of spatial awareness and vision; Short exercises to improve hand co-ordination.

Development of musical awareness and Improving the student’s sense of expression, mood, tone and tempo.

Control of the instrument - Technical control, co-ordination, posture, sound production.

General playing of practiced music. Breaking pieces into sections and allowing focus on various musical skills and assessing each section individually .

 

Group Tuition

At Bath Piano's Music School, you can enjoy group keyboard tuition, music composition, and Music Theory tuition. No matter if you are an adult or just four years old!

Also, for those who are not really into learning just the Piano/Keyboard and who are more interested in the rock/pop world, lessons in composing and recording your own original tracks are available.

Examinations in ABRSM, Trinity, London College of Music and Rockschool are available for Piano and Keyboard.

All Bath Piano pupils will also have the opportunity to appear on stage to a sell-out audience at least once a year.

All teachers have been fully CRB checked and possess enhanced disclosure.
